DISCOVER- HEAL - GROW
Welcome to my somatic and creative therapies studio set in the forest of the Perth hills. On this land, the bush provides a safe and nurturing environment in which we can talk and play in deeply reverent, transformative, and joyful ways.
My work is a combination of talk-based counselling integrated with body and art practices for adult individuals who are seeking support. I specialise in the areas of intimacy, sexuality, and embodiment and support people who are struggling, feeling stuck, lacking, or disconnected in any of these areas. Somatic and creative work are unique in their way of addressing these concerns particularly around the stuff that is harder to talk about, that exists deeper in the body, or is beyond words. My work is trauma-informed and is centred on the principles of safety, choice, and trust. What I offer is an invitation to connect and come home to yourself, to integrate your past and imagine your future, and to awaken to the ever-present aliveness within you. Together in my studio or online, we can explore the creative, fierce, tender, and sacred parts of you that are ready to heal and grow. My practice is LGBTQIA+ inclusive, kink-aware, and accepting of all relationship styles, choices, and configurations.

Intimacy is about relationships and how we connect, interact, and communicate with self and others. There are many forms of intimacy and difficulties may be experienced in one area or across all areas of your life depending on your situation. If you struggle to create connection, communicate your needs, set boundaries, engage in self-compassion, or any other kind of intimate activity, then intimacy work might be for you. Intimacy work involves exploring barriers to intimacy and learning new ways to engage with it which we do through creative play, practices, and structured learning tools.
Sexuality is an all-encompassing word that includes how we think, feel, behave, and experience ourselves as sexual beings from biological, sociological, and psychological perspectives. This includes how we were educated about our bodies and relationships, what messages we received or continue to receive from our families and society about what is normal or appropriate, and how our sense of identity, desires, and expression fits in with all of this. Eros is our natural aliveness that manifests as spontaneous creativity and play. When we contact our erotic innocence, we connect to our core self beyond fear, shame, and guilt. Sexuality work with me involves exploring your erotic self, identity, and expression through education, and somatic and creative practices. My focus is on increasing sexual literacy and embracing your authentic self and path.
Embodiment is about our experience of being in our bodies. For some folks, this is a difficult relationship because they never learned how to be in their body or had experiences that made being in their body a challenging place to be. Embodiment is a practice of increasing our awareness of our felt sense and building trust and safety and tolerance for sensation, particularly pleasure. Embodiment work with me is about awakening your body to its potential to experience pleasure as a pathway to healing and to be more connected to yourself and the world.
